Having led the product development of Looms and now overseeing our operations as Country Manager at AND Solutions, I’ve had the unique opportunity to experience both sides of the conversation: building the product and helping lenders apply it in real life.

What we set out to solve with Looms was simple, but critical. Lenders needed a way to launch, scale, and manage loan products faster, without the friction of legacy systems, disjointed workflows, or high dependency on development teams. One key lesson I’ve carried into my current role is this: borrowers don’t think in channels, but in convenience.

Looms supports omnichannel lending journeys: users can apply via mobile, switch to desktop, or upload documents through WhatsApp. This dramatically reduces drop-off, especially in markets where borrowers use mobile-first tools and expect real-time service.

As a product owner, I worked side-by-side with legal and infrastructure teams to ensure Looms would meet both local regulatory needs and international standards like ISO 27001 and GDPR. Today, it’s hosted securely on AWS or Azure, comes with role-based access control, audit logs, and seamless API integration with KYC providers, credit bureaus, and more.

It’s a platform lenders can trust to launch quickly, and to scale sustainably.
